RRQ was migrating systems off the central COBOL platform toward a .NET SOA intermediate platform. Building realistic test datasets from scratch was too risky: the approach was to copy existing data, then anonymize it without breaking consistency.
I joined the team building extract, transform, and reload jobs to produce those test cases.
